Crowdology is a branded website of VIGA, a trading name of Morar Consulting Limited (“We”, or “VIGA”)
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy (together with our terms of use https://crowdology.com/uk/terms-of-use/ and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By using our sites and signing up to the Crowdology panel you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

We will collect and process the following data about you:

Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by signing up as a member of Crowdology, filling in forms on our sites: Morarconsulting.com, Crowdology.com, Crowdologyusa.com, Redshiftresearch.co.uk and Vi.Ga (our sites), by completing surveys or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our sites, subscribe to our services, complete surveys, redeem incentives and when you report a problem with our sites. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, demographic information (such as occupation, travel frequency, and areas of interest) and any information submitted in response to survey questions. Where a survey response would require the collection of “sensitive personal data” we will ask for your express consent before collecting such information. Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our sites we will automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information and browser type and version;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, and any phone number used to call our customer service number.
  • Information we receive from other sources. This is information we receive about you if you use any of the other websites we, or our partners, operate or the other services we provide. In this case you will have been informed when the data was collected and for what purpose. We are working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies).



In order to complete surveys, you may be asked to provide sensitive personal data, such as data directly or indirectly revealing racial and ethnic origins, political, philosophical, or religious opinions, trade union affiliation, or health or sexual life. Before collecting this type of data we will first make sure to seek your express consent. We will only use sensitive personal data for the purpose of storing and processing it on behalf of the survey creator.

If VIGA or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VIGA, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.


The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Please do not send us your information if you do not agree to it being transferred outside the EEA in this way. By providing your information to us you agree and consent to us transferring to, and storing your information in any of our offices around the world. If you do not agree to this then you should unsubscribe from the Crowdology panel.
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
